Not to take credit where credit is due, but Spotify folders…that was me. I am an avid monthly playlist girl, which means I accumulate a lot of playlists over the year. For the longest time, I talked about wanting a folder system so aggressively that my mom finally asked me what I was waiting for. She was completely right. I had to tell them directly. So, I submitted a formal feedback form, practically begging their development team to add folders because I could no longer handle the absolute cluttered mess of my library sidebar.laylists.

Spotify now has folders

Now, I’ve got another idea. I always want to put my music on shuffle, but just for three to five artists. I wish there was a way to shuffle artists, without making a playlist. For example, I would shuffle: Clairo, Gracie Abrams, Taylor Swift, and Lana Del Rey. This would be amazing. I just want to shuffle artists together so bad. Another example: Tyler the Creator and Phoebe Bridgers, a combo no one would make but myself. So Spotify… I’ll be waiting.
