Today I cancelled my CorePower membership. I’m torn, but I refuse to be robbed in broad daylight—aka moving to New York City, where the exact same membership mysteriously jumps an extra $100.
I am currently walking the park in my CorePower sports bra in mourning. Yesterday in class, I almost nailed my side crow. Then, ten minutes ago at home, I tried it on my floor and fell flat on my face.
As I was lying there, it hit me: once I nail side crow, I’m going to start breakdancing.
There was no question mark at the end of that thought. Zero hesitation. Did a heavy wave of doubt immediately occupy my mind regarding my actual breakdancing skills? Absolutely. But in that moment, the vision was clear.
Granted, this is a pure mix of manifestation and delusion. I officially ended my membership today, I move tomorrow, and my side crow will not be taking flight anytime soon. So there goes the pose, and along with it, my dreams of being a breakdancer.
