A wise man (my 10th grade history teacher) once said, “I’m not going to ask you how you are doing. How are you coping?”. This was right after Covid-19 hit and the world had become even more unknown and unpredictable than ever. No one knows. No one can answer the question. No one has the answers.
That has really stuck with me and kept me going. It’s so powerfully spoken, so vulnerably answered. I recently saw an Instagram post by New Yorker Cartoons, that read, how we’re coping, I felt a cozy blanket of comfort wrap around me like a hug.
